MPEG – The Moving Picture Experts Group
MPEG develops standards for coded representation of digital audio, video, 3D graphics, and genomic data. Since 1988, it has produced standards like AVC, HEVC, and VVC, facilitating the creation of an industry worth hundreds of billions of USD.
